I have a Backtrack 4 in a USB thumb drive and i can use it on my computer (laptop), but why is it i can&#039;t use it to other computer(laptop). Does it requires any setting on a certain computers or do i have to download some software on their computer in order to use it. Hope you can help me.

I have had the exact same problem you mention before, although never on the same machine. I usually just edit the syslinux.cfg file and reboot. That being said, someone mentioned in a previous comment that in Backtrack 3 you could use the UUID of the device in the changes statement.  It does not appear that this is currently working for Backtrack 4 or at least we haven&#039;t got it working yet. Will keep you posted if we can get it to work.

I would love to have a truly portable BT usb!
